Bharat Bachao National Conference will be held on 11 & 12 March in New Delhi. Recently we have seen congress-led initiative Bharat Jodo Yatra, for saving democracy but this is not the only effort happening right now, many democratic rights organizations and other small parties are taking different initiatives to protect democracy from becoming a majoritarianism state. One of the initiatives is Bharat bachao. This is a collective effort of many Dalits and left organization to save democracy.
According to Gade Nage Reddy @ Gade Inna Reddy, themen behind this campaign said “It would be a historical mistake if we do not fight against the Brahmanical Hindutva fanatical fascism in particular and against any religious fundamentalism in general, which is evolving dangerously in India. It would be great injustice to the future generations of India, if we do not understand the naked truth that the living conditions of people would be miserable in coming days. In addition to the Manuvadi caste brutality that is already dangerously prevalent in India, fascism is coming at a rocket speed in the country and is about to put down the basic rights of the people. It is a historical truth that fascism has many faces”
Fascism is a different policy in each country and different predatory ruling parties are implementing fascism based on their ideological policies and fanaticism in India. Ideology, philosophy, policy and tactics of the BJP party implements fascism in the most tyrannical manner. Feudal, capitalist, imperialist exploitation and totalitarian philosophy is one type of fascism, but under BJP rule, fascism is in another form. The declared totalitarianism and fascism of the Emergency period was seen and understood by all. At present, in our country, fascism reigns in the form of an undeclared emergency. Fascism practiced in India is characterized by religious hatred, discrimination, exploitation, despotism, brutality and violence, and minimal democracy is likely to disappear and injustice is suppressed without a voice to question it. The activists are being hunted down, separated and oppressed. Cases are being filed, arrests are being made, detentions are being made and killings are being carried out. In order to face the dangerous fascist and bigoted enemy, we should all work together across regions, castes and religions to form a movement.
In the conference around 800 to 1000 people will participate from all over the country.
The main objective of Bharat Bachao is
1. The aspirations of the national liberation movement to end the British imperialist colonial exploitation, despotism, hegemony and dictatorial rule and establish a democratic regime should be taken into account and efforts should be made to take responsibility for their achievement.
2. In the spirit of the Constitution of India, there should be governance to achieve economic and social justice, freedom and equality. All politicians, rulers and government employees should be accountable to the people.
3. India’s independence aspirations like equal rights, public education, healthcare and employment should be made available to all. Agriculture sector should be developed.
4. There is a possibility of civil war if the present party at the center continues to rule. There should be regulatory laws to eradicate all forms of inequality and caste discrimination in the society.
5. Change is essential not only in change of rulers but administrative changes shall be made.
6. Development plans for people’s needs should balance all kinds of wealth preserved by our forefathers for thousands of years.
7. There should be democratic ruler who implement India’s national independence aspirations constitutionally. There should be government control over the private sector.
8. Not only is unity in diversity as a slogan, there should be rule by rulers who do not incite caste, religion and ethnic hatreds. Special attention should be paid to underdeveloped areas.
9. Indigenous slogan should be true and it shall not be vote bank politics. Self-interested foreign craze does serious damage to society. The government should develop the industrial sector. Labor laws should be protected.
10. All kinds of religious fundamentalism, hatred and acts of terrorism are hindrances to democracy and development of people.
11. United structures are needed resist the fascist exploitation which is now looming as a danger.
